Attachment J-9- T&E Management Business Scenarios Business Scenarios are categorized into three commonality levels differentiated by (1) the extent to which Federal agencies experience the situation and (2) the need for specialized processes to achieve the desired outcome for a traveler.
· Level 1 (L1): Affects most or all Federal agencies and impacts a large transaction volume or dollar value across the Federal government.
· Level 2 (L2): Affects multiple Federal agencies and requires some specialized processing from the service consumer perspective.
· Level 3 (L3): Affects one or a few Federal agencies and requires unique processing that is mandated by legislation or program requirements.
Business Scenarios are identified by a Business Scenario number (e.g., 1, 2, 3) which is a unique number associated with their commonality descriptor (i.e., L1, L2, L3). The table provides the business scenario number in the first column, commonality level in the second column, name in the third column, and description in the fourth column.
