About this file

This document provides an overview and agenda for a pre-bid site walk for a federal construction project to build a new Community Living Center at the VA hospital in Montrose, New York. The project involves constructing a 25,000 square foot single-story resident house and neighborhood center to accommodate 28 veterans, connected to the main hospital building via sidewalks and walkways. The construction work includes site development, utilities infrastructure, abatement of asbestos in an existing corridor, and renovation of that corridor to integrate access to the new facility. The pre-bid meeting agenda covers introductions of the project team, an overview of the project scope and site, items requiring special attention such as phasing and environmental plans, the designated contractors' laydown area, availability of bid documents, bidding procedures and deadline, and a site walk.
