WORK HOURS / PHASING
• It is expected that much of the work can proceed during business hours.
• Any construction activity that impacts patient care must be conducted after hours. In the event that work must be conducted during business hours, we will then work with impacted stakeholders to mitigate construction disruption to their operations by providing them ear plugs, head phones, or relocate them as necessary. In addition, VAPA follows City of Palo Alto noise ordinance.
• The Medical Center must maintain its operation 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Therefore, any interruption in service must be scheduled and coordinated with the COR to ensure that no lapses in operation occur.
