The Memphis VA Medical Center has a requirement for a construction contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and quality control to replace the entire fire alarm system at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Memphis

TN.

The medical center campus has an existing Notifier 3300 fire alarm system. This project will be a complete replacement of the existing with an all new system as detailed in the contract drawings and specifications; including but not limited to all control panels, initiating devices, notification devices, control modules, etc. necessary for a fully Code compliant system.

3. Background: As this is a complete replacement of the system, the design intent is to keep the existing fire alarm system fully operational until the new system has been completely installed and tested.

4. Performance Period: The contractor shall complete the work required under this

SOW in a total of 18 months or less from date of award/Notice to Proceed, unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer (CO).

The solicitation will be available for download on or by April 5, 2021.

NAICS code 238210 is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard Is $16.5M.

The estimate range of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
