About this file

This is a Scope of Services attachment document for the Broward County Aviation Department's Shuttle Bus and Other Transportation Services contract for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida. The contractor must provide 24/7 shuttle bus and tram operations to serve multiple airport locations including employee parking lots, employee terminal stops, the rental car center, and parking garages. The service requirements specify maximum guest wait times (headway times) of 10 minutes for employee parking lots and terminal stops, with extended 15-minute intervals during overnight hours from 0200-0400 hours. The rental car center requires 10-minute maximum wait times, while the parking garage tram operates on a 14-minute headway running a single tram. The contractor must schedule and coordinate sufficient vehicles throughout all routes to meet guest demand and maintain these service levels.

The document acknowledges that maximum guest wait times may be adjusted by the Contract Administrator during periods of low activity in overnight hours, and recognizes that construction projects, roadway traffic, and weather conditions may impact routes and actual headway times. The solicitation requires vendors to submit responses electronically through BPRO and mandates living wage compliance and bonding requirements. The full solicitation details regarding pricing, contract term, renewal options, and specific award dates are not contained in this attachment and must be reviewed in the complete solicitation documents.
