About this file

This document is General Services Guidelines for Expo 2027 Belgrade, prepared by EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade to provide detailed information to Official and Non-Official Participants regarding procedures, rights, and obligations for general services during the Exhibition scheduled for May 15 to August 15, 2027.

The guidelines establish mandatory requirements (marked C-00) and recommended actions (marked G-00) across four primary service categories: sanitation and public health, security and safety, water/electricity and utility services, and telecommunications. For sanitation and health, participants must maintain pavilion cleanliness, implement ventilation and pest control measures, ensure food safety compliance, and manage waste collection with proper segregation and disposal at organizer-designated locations. Security and safety requirements mandate that each participant appoint a security manager within five months prior to opening, develop security management and evacuation plans, implement fire prevention measures including appointing a fire prevention officer, conduct staff training, and ensure proper visitor access control. The organizer provides water supply and sewerage infrastructure with metering for monthly invoicing and 10-day payment terms, electricity supply at 220/380V 50Hz with monthly billing, air conditioning and ventilation connections, and sprinkler fire systems (with participants responsible for lower-layer installation where required). For telecommunications, participants must sign service agreements with designated providers, comply with radio-frequency regulations through proper authority applications, ensure equipment meets technical standards, and avoid electrical interference. Service suspension is permitted for non-payment, inspection obstruction, improper facility use, or safety violations. The guidelines also include procedural forms for lost and found property management requiring detailed documentation of item discovery and handover processes.

The identity of the person reporting the lost item must always be verified by an official photo ID. Name and contact information are required fields.

Note: In some cases, items are reported as lost not by the owner, but by family members or friends. The report is completed in two identical copies: one is handed to the person reporting the item, and the other is stored in the deposit.

If the Finder wishes to remain anonymous, this shall be recorded in the documentation. Otherwise, the Finder may leave their contact details in case of follow-up questions or expressions of gratitude from the owner.

In certain cases, Expo employees may deliver a found item even though it was discovered by a visitor and handed over to the staff. In such cases, the employee must also provide details of the time and location where the item was found or handed over, to be entered into the official record.

If the item contains clear identifying information (e.g. name on an ID, contact information in a phone), the Lost & Found may attempt to contact the owner directly. If the owner is not immediately identified, the item shall remain with the Lost & Found under the established retention rules until claimed or until the legal holding period expires.

When a found item is returned to its owner or an authorised representative, a Property Handover Form must be completed (Appendix No. 2), which lists the identity of the recipient, a description of the item, method of identification, date and time of the handover, and signatures of both the owner and the Lost & Found employee.
