“DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER”
(Patrick SFB PWS3054128)
DATE: 10 April 2022
On 10 April 2022 at approximately 1700 hrs the water in buildings 5895-5901 will be shut off due to a ruptured water line. As a precaution to the consumer, we are recommending that the water not be consumed after approximately 1700 on 10 April 2022 until further notice. If the consumer has the capability to boil water then the additional precaution is advised:
THEREFORE, AS A PRECAUTION, WE ADVISE THAT ALL
WATER USED FOR DRINKING, COOKING, MAKING ICE,
BRUSHING TEETH, OR WASHING DISHES BE BOILED. A
ROLLING BOIL OF ONE MINUTE IS SUFFICIENT. AS AN
ALTERNATIVE BOTTLED WATER MAY BE USED. THE WATER
IS SAFE FOR BATHING, LAUNDERING, AND OTHER NON-
CONSUMPTIVE USES. ALLOW WATER TO COOL DOWN
BEFORE DRINKING. THIS PRECAUTION SHOULD BE
FOLLOWED UNTIL FURTHER WRITTEN NOTICE IS GIVEN.
After receiving results from the collected bacteriological samples and determining that the water is safe to consume, the notice will be lifted and normal consumption of water can resume. This facility will be notified in writing when the “DO NOT DRINK THIS WATER” notice is no longer in effect.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Bioenvironmental Engineering at 321-494-5435 during normal working hours or the Patrick SFB Command Post at 321-494-7001 after hours.
