About this file
This is a Northern Ireland Fair Employment Practices Disclosure form required by the City of Cleveland, Ohio pursuant to Codified Ordinance Section 181.36. The disclosure applies to all contractors and subcontractors holding more than fifty percent interest in contracts with the City prior to contract award. Contractors must certify their engagement status regarding business or trading activities in Northern Ireland and, if applicable, attest to compliance with fair employment practices aligned with the MacBride Principles for Fair Employment in Northern Ireland. The form requires contractors to check one of three boxes: confirmation of no business engagement in Northern Ireland, disclosure of business engagement in Northern Ireland, or certification of lawful and good faith steps to engage in fair employment practices consistent with the MacBride Principles. False statements on this disclosure result in contract default, and non-compliant contractors face automatic exclusion from City bidding for two years.
This disclosure requirement applies to the Rockefeller Greenhouse Campus CM-R Improvements project, a multi-phase construction management at risk initiative managed by the City of Cleveland's Mayor's Office of Capital Projects through the Division of Architecture and Site Development. The project encompasses three components: a traditional design-build for the Rockefeller Greenhouse Admin Building, Forestry Garage, and Historic Brick Garage; a traditional design-build for Rockefeller Main Greenhouse General Improvements; and a progressive design-build project for Rockefeller Main Greenhouse solar glazing with a project allowance. Contractors and any subcontractors meeting the ownership threshold must complete and submit the Northern Ireland disclosure form as a condition of bid consideration and contract award.
