About this opportunity

Clayton County Public Schools is requesting proposals for Summer Enrichment Programs under RFP 013-22, with the proposal submission deadline extended to March 3, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. EST via the Bonfire online portal. CCPS intends to make multiple awards to establish a qualified-vendor supply on an as-needed basis.

The scope encompasses three distinct program categories: Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) serving approximately 1,600 students in grades 1–8 with literacy and math interventions; STEM camps serving 7–8 days during the last two weeks of June at elementary and secondary levels; and Advanced Learning Academy (ALA) providing algebra support to 8th graders. All programs operate 5 hours daily, 4–5 days per week, available in virtual, face-to-face, or hybrid delivery models. Vendors need not bid on all three categories. Minimum requirement: one year of experience successfully implementing a K–12 curriculum or program and possession of a qualified Summer Enrichment Program ready to begin by June or July. All vendors must provide evidence of E-Verify registration, maintain worker's compensation and general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, and obtain a Georgia Certificate of Authority to Transact Business. Instructors and curriculum materials are vendor-provided; staff need not be fully identified at Notice of Award.

The initial contract term runs one year with two renewal options, terminating June 30 annually as required by Georgia law. The combined not-to-exceed amount across all awarded contracts is $2,500,000. Evaluation criteria on a 100-point scale include executive summary (5 points), staff experience and qualifications (20 points), methodology and approach (30 points), prior project experience (15 points), organizational and financial capability (10 points), and cost proposal (20 points), with potential additional points from oral presentations scheduled March 1–8, 2022 if needed. Questions were due February 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. EST, with answers posted February 11. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference was held February 2, 2022. Acknowledgement of all four addenda is mandatory; failure to acknowledge may result in proposal rejection.
