About this opportunity

The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, is conducting a Request for Quote (RFQ) procurement for DYMO machines and labels to support operations across its 38 court locations serving 88 cities and 118 law enforcement agencies countywide. The Court seeks fifty (50) DYMO LabelWriter 550 Desktop Label Printers and fifty (50) boxes of DYMO LabelWriter Return Address Labels (Model 2050766), with delivery required in one complete shipment to the LAC-Superior Court Warehouse at 270 W Duarte Rd, Suite A, Monrovia, California 91016, within the timeframe specified on the purchase order. The printers feature direct thermal printing technology with automatic label recognition, print speeds up to 62 labels per minute, 300 dpi resolution, and USB connectivity, while each label box contains 500 labels per roll with 6 rolls per box (3,000 labels total) sized at 1 inch by 2 inches for departmental operations including asset tagging, mail processing, document identification, and workflow organization. All items must be new, genuine DYMO-manufactured products with no third-party substitutes, refurbished items, or alternate brands accepted, and pricing must be all-inclusive except for applicable taxes with quotes valid for 90 days. Vendors may respond to all or some line items; however, the Court may prefer to award the entire bid to a single vendor and is not bound to consider partial bids. The bid due date is May 22, 2026, with electronic submissions required via the Court's Online Procurement Website (Bonfire) at https://lacourt.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities prior to the stated deadline. Vendors must complete all requested information directly onto solicitation documents, and failure to do so may result in non-responsive bids; additionally, vendors must disclose any utilization of Generative Artificial Intelligence in their goods, services, or deliverables, as failure to disclose may result in bid disqualification at the Court's sole discretion.

The solicitation documents do not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences limiting participation to particular types of organizations; therefore, the procurement appears open to all qualified vendors meeting the stated requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available procurement materials. The printers include the manufacturer's standard limited warranty typically lasting two years, and labels are guaranteed to be free from defects affecting print legibility, adhesive performance, or printer compatibility, with the contractor serving as the point of contact for defective unit claims and providing manufacturer documentation and warranty support. The Court retains broad discretionary rights including the ability to reject any or all bids, cancel the solicitation, negotiate with vendors, and award to other than the lowest-priced bidder if in the Court's best interest. Specific budget or award values are not disclosed in the available procurement documents. The bid contact is Mayra Carrillo, and by participating in the solicitation, vendors agree to accept all terms and conditions outlined in the procurement documents, including the Court's IT Terms and Conditions, Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, and Online Procurement Procedures.
