About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22) is seeking highly qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) to provide multi-discipline architectural and engineering (A/E) design services on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. The required services may include scope development, planning, design review, value engineering, and construction management for new facility construction, building additions, and renovations. Interested firms must demonstrate competence, qualifications, and experience, and will be evaluated based on their capabilities. Responses to the solicitation are due by October 17, 2024, and all requests for information must be submitted by September 20, 2024.
This IDIQ contract will have a 5-year base period with four 1-year option periods, and a total anticipated value not to exceed $45 million. Services may include, but are not limited to, providing scope, development, planning, concept development, interior design, environmental studies, feasibility studies, program analysis, design review, value engineering reviews, consulting/construction management for work, building designs for facilities as well as rehabilitation and upgrade of existing facilities and systems, to include new buildings, building additions and/or building renovations or other real property alterations. Additional services that may be required include, but are not limited to, Master Planning/Medical Planning preparation of designs, plans, drawings, life-style cost analysis, construction cost estimates, project specifications, fact-finding studies, surveys, investigations, hazardous material’s such as asbestos abatement, other professional A/E services not necessarily connected with a specific construction project, and supervision/inspections of projects under construction.
