HEATING SYSTEM FOR STRESS TENSIONED FABRIC AIRCRAFT SHELTERS
Provide all material, equipment, labor and supplies to install the following in four shelters:
Each shelter shall have:
- Four 125K Combustion Research - Omega II - 4 inch straight 40Ft. natural gas radiant heat systems or approved equal with the following features:
- Systems are to be fully CSA Certified
- Radiant tubing constructed entirely of corrosion resistant aluminized steel and heat treated for maximum radiant output
- Power vented, unitary system
- 3 try, direct solid state spark ignition – 100% safety lockout
- Electronic flame monitoring
- Burner flame inspection window
- Burners shall have a minimum 15 second Pre-Purge before ignition cycle
- Powder coated burner housing
- 10 year warranty on radiant tubes for internal corrosion
- Seismic suspension for high wind application
- System controls are to be pre-wired 115V, 60Hz.
- Two Thermostats per shelter 115V (One per system on each side of shelter) – ref. drawing
- 6 inch vent piping installed through side wall – ref. drawing
- System steady state efficiency shall be a minimum of 77%, maximum 87%
