ACA SHELTER /SCOPE
Firm-Fixed Price Construction Project Project No: WYTD079031- Construct ACA Shelter at Toledo Air National Guard Base (TANGB), Swanton Ohio. This project includes two (2) 2-Bay semi-heated, pre-engineered alert aircraft shelter’s (29,250 SF) to include architectural and site layout, finishes, mechanicals systems, electrical systems, lighting systems, communications and intrusion detection, backup generator power, high expansion foam fire suppression system and plumbing. Exterior site improvements, apron repair/replacement (6,000SY) will be required along with a new electrical service to the building.

Bids Evaluated IAW DFARS 252.236-7007-Additive Bid Offers the lowest aggregate amount for the base bid item, plus or minus (in the order stated in the list of priorities in the bid schedule) those additive or deductive items that provide the most features within the funds determined available.
PRICE
As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price & Responsibility.
CONSTRUCTION WAGE RATES/BONDS
Most current DOL Construction Wage rates will apply OH18109 Currently MOD 10 (9-21-2018) Lucas County Amendments will be issued for updated rates (within 10 days of bid opening).

Will only be changed by issuing an Amendment to IFB
General Working Conditions Active parking apron to the east and taxiway to the north - FAA.
Clean-up as needed to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from blowing around active aircraft areas.
Daily explosive safety briefings by site superintendent.
All vehicles entering the base will be inspected daily.
All construction workers on site will require a background investigation (SFS77) and will be issued a security badge.
Deliveries will be allowed access with an escort. Suggest suppliers have delivery personnel badged (SFS77)to avoid delays for escorts.
General Conditions Electricity and water available will provided in reasonable amounts to facilitate construction.
Fuel for temporary heating if required shall be furnished by the contractor.
No personally owned vehicles will be permitted inside the security fence of the flight line. Parking shall be in parking lots outside of the fenced area.
