2 RFP, 4.0 Volume 1, Factor 1

– Experience, 4.1.2 Relevant Contracts, a.

In section 00 22 16, 4.1.2. Relevant Contracts, a. on page 6, relevant contracts are specified as “substantially completed.” We are asking that this requirement be changed to 90 % completed.

The contractor will be responsible for complying with the requirements in this section, per the original solicitation.

3 There a numerous locations in the document that indicate controlled and secured areas (Ref sheets GS 102 and GS 103 and Details Sheets A 500’s series). Will the Government be issuing a Construction Security Plan (CSP) for the project that is releasable to offerors for review?

See new Section 01 90 00 attachments, per Am-0002.

4 08 33 13 After reviewing the drawings and specifications, we cannot find the coiling counter doors on the drawings as referred to by Specification Section 08 33 13 Coiling Counter Doors. Please advise where to find these if they are in the plans and specifications or, if possible, provide the information in an amendment.

See revised Section 08 33 13, per Am-0002. This section has been deleted from this solicitation.

5 If the Government does not intend on providing a CSP, there is no reference to construction guidelines ICD 705 for the construction for the secure and controlled area construction including any provisions for RF and STC testing requirements. Also, no RF shielding is shown or specified.

The MEP documents do indicate penetration requirements between secure and unsecured boundaries. Are there any other special construction requirements for these areas and will the Government require a secure perimeter be set up and segregation of materials.

See new Section 01 90 00 attachments, per Am-0002.
