About this file
This is a Question and Answer document (Q&A No. 6) issued for Solicitation W911QY-26-R-CUSTODIAL regarding basewide custodial services. A prospective contractor inquired about which data source should be used to calculate square footage for cost estimation: TE-05 documentation or the provided floor plans. The contractor noted a discrepancy between the two sources, specifically observing that TE-05 lists only a small fraction of cleanable square footage compared to the floor plans, particularly for building 42, which contains additional buildings and areas not listed on TE-05.
The Government's response directs contractors to consult Attachment 4 of the solicitation as the only additional information available to resolve the square footage discrepancy. No further clarification or guidance is provided in this Q&A response.

Q&A No. 6 to Solicitation W911QY-26-R-CUSTODIAL
BASEWIDE CUSTODIAL SERVICES
Question: In order to calculate costs, one of the key data items is square footage. The floor plans provided include buildings and areas not listed on TE-05. In addition, the rooms listed on TE-05 seem to only represent a small fraction of cleanable square footage as shown on the floorplans-in particular building 42. Which should we use to calculate square footage, TE-05 or the floorplans?
Answer: Please see Attachment 4 on this solicitation, this is the only additional information that the Government can provide.
