3.1. KAZCENT Conference Center:
Work will be completed in accordance with 100% design provided as an addendum to this SOW. KazCent Conference Center is a single-story building with a mezzanine floor, which covers approximately 1/ 3 of the total foot area of the building. The building is rectangular in plan with the dimensions of 30.1 5x1 4.55 m, as column grids are 5.85 x 6.825 m.
The design includes a large conference room, which could be divided into 3 smaller conference rooms with movable wall panels. The large conference room has a stage at the north end and mezzanine floor at the south end. This area will be used as foyer and lounge area, where visitors will be hosted prior to conferences or at interludes. Access to the mezzanine floor will be provided by a decorative round stair, located at the south side of the lobby area. This longitudinal area also extends to the south entrance and the restroom a rea.
Conference rooms will be flexible in use with the help of movable (acoustical) wall panels. They could be either merged as a single large room (including mezzanine), or could be used as separate rooms, when the attendees are less. Tables and chairs will be movable so sitting arrangement could be modified with different setups such as theatre sitting, classroom sitting, board room sitting, or hollow square sitting.

All flooring surf ace materials will be non-slippery, in order to provide safety precautions for disabled people. From parking lot to the south entrance, continuous detectable warning tiles will be installed. Likewise, the beginning and ending of all ramps will be indicated by the warning tiles. Please refer to general plan for more information about the location of tiles. All emergency egresses are designed as complying the minimum required dimensions for disabled people. There will be a dedicated restroom for disabled people designed according to turning radius and including grab bars and emergency button.
3.2. Demolition:
The plan set shows two existing buildings to be demolished. Those buildings have already been demolished;

(3) consecutive days or if ambient temperatures are projected to drop below 5 Celsius degrees within the next five (5) calendar days.
4.4.3. If any construction is performed during these weather conditions, a cold weather construction plan must be submitted to the Contracting Officer, to include concrete mixture, curing, and foundation construction plan at a minimum. Plan shall also include measures taken to protect and heat masonry materials including both block and mortar ingredients.

4.4.4. During cold weather construction, contractor shall provide documentation of methods used in accordance with the cold weather construction plan in their weekly reports.
4.5. WET WEATHER CONSTRUCTION: The following are minimum standards for wet weather construction.
4.5.1. CONCRETE/MORTAR: Concrete shall not be placed if it is actively raining. If ra in is projected within five (5) calendar days of concrete placement, concrete must be protected from rain while curing. Concrete shall not be placed on a wet surface in which water has affected compaction.
4.5.2. FOUNDATIONS: Foundation work shall not be placed directly on wet soil/engineered fill if there is standing water or if water infiltration is deeper than 1 inch into the soil/engineered fill.
“Muddy” conditions are not appropriate for foundation work, unless excavated or dried.
4.5.3. INTERIOR: Structure must be waterproofed and protected from weather conditions prior to final interior finishes such as drywall, carpet, and ceiling being installed.
4.6. Structure: Structural system of the building will be prefabricated metal facility. The entire steel structure will be located on reinforced concrete foundations consist of stem walls, pedestals, tie columns, footings, and mat foundation (concrete class B25, steel reinforcement A-III). The total depth of the foundation will be 2800 mm from the floor finish level. The foundation walls will be insulated and wrapped with vapor barrier from the exterior side of the stem wall. Thus, there will not be any insulation underlying the slab on grade.
Structural elements will not be exposed after the completion of architectural finishing. Slab on grade will be cast-in-place reinforced B-25 concrete with the thickness of 1 25 mm, with the reinforcement of Class A-III.
All steel structure will be painted by 2 layers of f ire rated primer and 2 layer of fire rated paint, in order to increase the performance of fire resistance of the structures. Please refer to metal structure part of the project f or more information.
4.7. Façade: Prefabricated metal facility building will be enveloped by cassette profiles filled with 100 mm thick insulation. There are 3 different facade system installed to these cassette profiles: Composite Aluminum Paneling System, Brick Cladding System, Trapezoidal Paneling System. All transition between windows, doors, and facade will be properly sealed and flashing will be provided if necessary. The entire facade will be illuminated by wall washers. In addition, there will be a hidden exterior lighting at the parapet niche of the facade.
4.8. Partition Walls: Internal partitions will be made of gypsum wall board s with various thickness, which is classified in the wall schedule. Partition systems will be safe enough to carry the own load and any load transferred to them. Any installation on walls require wall blocking inside of the partition. Several partitions will be sound, or fire rated per schedule. Refer to wall schedule for detailed information.
4.9. Roof: It will consist of insulated sandwich panels installed on purlins. Roof slope will be 8% (1:1 2) and the minimum height of the parapet will be one meter and will vary with the roof slope. There will be 6 drains and 4 overflow scuppers on the roof for the discharge of rainwater. Roof will be accessed by roof hatch, which meets the life safety requirements. All roof equipment and devices will be installed on metal support framing, which is directly tied to main structure.
4.10. Electrical: The current project is subject to II category of power supply with the exception of evacuation lighting, electric receivers of fire-fighting devices, fire alarm and notification systems and evacuation management, which belong to the category of power supply reliability.
