About this file
This document is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) Annex A outlining the Maintenance Performance Requirement Summary (PRS) for equipment repair and maintenance operations. The PRS establishes quality standards, sampling methods, and acceptable quality levels (AQL) for contractor performance across multiple maintenance categories.
The maintenance requirements span six primary functional areas: Materiel Maintenance—General (establishing and operating repair shops with 95% AQL); Materiel Maintenance Support (performing repairs per technical manuals and work requests with 95% AQL for general work, 97% for mechanical repairs, and 98% for electrical repairs); Materiel Maintenance—Programs/Efforts (meeting base operations metrics with 95% AQL, tire maintenance per TM 9-2610-200-14 with 95% AQL, wheel alignment per applicable standards with 95% AQL, glass repairs with air and watertight seals at 95% AQL, and sensitive item maintenance at 100% AQL); Allied Trades (welding and nondestructive testing by certified personnel at 95% AQL); Repair Parts and Materiel Management (managing Standard Pricing items per DFAS-IN Reg 37-1 Chapter 13 at 95% AQL); and Production Control (managing maintenance workload and equipment receiving points at 95% AQL). All requirements reference compliance with Army Regulations (AR 750-1, AR 190-11, AR 710-2), DA Pamphlets (DA PAM 750-1, DA PAM 750-8), applicable technical manuals, and local installation policies. Sampling methods are primarily random or periodic shop/activity inspections of in-process and completed work, records, and files.
