W15QKN-22-R-0008
1. RFP Section C.4.1 states ADCs are required for "155mm XM1128 Projectile Metal Parts Assembly, Base Closure, and Wood Pallets…" while Attachment 0003, Article 12 lists the following End Item Components as requiring ADCs "155mm XM1128 Projectile Metal Parts Assembly", "Base Closure", and "Wood Preserve". Will the USG please provide clarification as to which takes precedence for the components requiring ADCs? C.4.1 or Attachment 0003, Article 12.
Government Response: Attachment 0003, Item 12 paragraph (d) states “The component items identified below are from paragraph (c) above and will require their own component ADC in addition to being listed on the end item ADC. The component ADCs shall also comply with MIL-STD-1168 and WARP requirements.” The following sentence describes the component(s) that requires an ADC and their components that are listed within the ADC.
Paragraph (c) explains this by stating “Drawing Number from paragraph (c) above 13023905, components as follows:
Component Drawing Number Nomenclature 13060578 Wood Preserve
Drawing Number from paragraph (c) above 13071736, components as follows:
Component Drawing Number Nomenclature 13060578 Wood Preserve”
Drawing 13023905 is the Pallet Cover and drawing 13071736 is the Pallet Base as listed in paragraph (c). Paragraph (d) is requiring that for these ADCs their component within the ADC is drawing 13060578 for Wood Preserve. No update or clarification required in Attachment 0003 document.
2. In response to Question set 1, question 47, the USG stated “No, the requirement for submitting one original paper and six (6) paper copies; however, the additional two CD copies are not required and can be submitted via DOD Safe.” Will the USG please update Section L to reflect the noted changes?
Government Response: Section L will be updated to reflect the USG response in the forthcoming amendment.
3. Reference: RFP Section D Packaging & Marking and CDRL A037: The referenced RFP section has the box checked for “2D BAR CODES NOT REQUIRED”, however, CDRL A037 provides specific 2D Bar Code requirements. Will the USG please provide clarification regarding the requirement for 2D Bar Codes to alleviate the conflicting information?
