About this file
This document is a bid amendment for Bid Solicitation # 20DPP00471 T1628 Enhanced Motor Vehicle Inspection Maintenance System, issued by the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury Division of Purchase and Property Procurement Bureau. The amendment provides answers to questions submitted during the final round of the question and answer (Q&A) process, which was due by March 12, 2021. It revises the quote submission due date from February 26, 2021 to June 11, 2021. The contract is for an Enhanced Motor Vehicle Inspection Maintenance System, which will be implemented across the state of New Jersey.
The amendment addresses several key issues, including capital expense limitations, the use of the current contractor's COVID-19 standard operating procedure (SOP), and the potential development of a mobile application. The State clarifies that there is no limit on capital expenditures the contractor may be responsible for, and the State will not reimburse the contractor for expenditures exceeding previously provided estimates. The State also confirms that it is not requiring bidders to use the current contractor's COVID-19 SOP, but all vendors must comply with CDC and Department of Health guidelines. Additionally, the development of a mobile application is not a mandatory requirement of the current bid solicitation.
