About this file
This is a procurement notification email from the Industrial Commission of Arizona regarding a solicitation for Mandatory Section 111 MSP (Medicare Secondary Payer) Reporting Services. The solicitation period runs from Friday, August 15, 2025, through Tuesday, September 2, 2025, with the proposal submission deadline of September 2, 2025. The Industrial Commission of Arizona is seeking a contractor to provide Medicare reporting services focused on mandatory Section 111 reporting obligations, which typically involve detailed tracking and electronic submission of claim settlements, judgments, awards, and other payments that may impact Medicare's secondary payment responsibilities. The procurement notification establishes a significant procurement role period during which state employees involved in the procurement decision-making process are prohibited from engaging in employment discussions with potential vendors or lobbyists to ensure fair competition and prevent conflicts of interest.
The notification does not specify pricing terms, contract award amounts, or set-aside designations in the email itself. However, based on the related contract opportunity summary, Medicare reporting services contracts of this nature typically range from $100,000 to $500,000 annually. The procurement emphasizes that several Industrial Commission employees with significant procurement roles have signed Procurement Disclosure Statements and are subject to the restrictions outlined in Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-753(D). The email serves primarily as an internal compliance notice to prevent information leakage to potential bidders rather than a formal solicitation document, with Mary Crosson, Procurement Specialist, identified as the point of contact for questions regarding the procurement.
