About this file
This is a PowerPoint slide that provides a detailed diagram and description of DLA's Operational Technology (OT) and IT network architecture levels. The diagram outlines six distinct levels (0-5) and their associated components, progressing from business/enterprise systems down to process control instrumentation. Key zones include the DLA Enterprise Business Network (Level 5), DLA Enterprise Network (Level 4), DMZ for OT (Level 3), Supervisory Control LAN (Level 2), Control Devices (Level 1), and Process Control Instrumentation (Level 0).
Each level is described with specific components and functions. Level 5 includes customer-facing systems like email servers and CRM systems. Level 4 contains local infrastructure such as file servers and site-specific solutions. Level 3 houses security systems like HBSS and patch management. Level 2 encompasses control center operations with HMI interfaces and engineering workstations. Level 1 contains PLCs and control processors, while Level 0 consists of physical sensors and actuators. The diagram also shows a J64 Operations Support component that manages DLA OT operations and monitoring environment, including tools for operations scheduling, tracking, and analysis.
