The project encompasses comprehensive maintenance, repairs, and lifecycle replacement work on the 17,083-square-foot facility and supporting assets, including mechanical equipment replacement (exhaust fans, dehumidifiers, mini-split units), HVAC system upgrades, electrical outlet upgrades, plumbing fixture installation, ADA improvements, window re-caulking and tinting, interior and exterior painting, flooring replacements, and weather sealing. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit is scheduled for May 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the project location (1107 14th Ave W, Palmetto, FL 34221). The final deadline for bidder questions is May 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with a tentative final addendum publication on June 2, 2026, and sealed bids due by June 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Participation by Minority Business Enterprises and Veteran Owned companies is encouraged with no set-aside restrictions specified. Contractors must obtain all required building, plumbing, electrical, and system permits and associated fees, except State Fire Marshal permits which the owner will obtain and pay.
