About this file
This document is a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for the Notification of Aircraft Delay data item (CDRL A006) under a federal contract for C-130 aircraft maintenance and repair services. Key details include:
The CDRL defines the requirements for a form that the contractor must submit to notify the government when an aircraft delivery will be delayed, including the reason for the delay, the number of days delayed, and whether the delay is the contractor's fault or not. The form must be submitted within 2 work days when it becomes evident the delivery date will not be met. The government has 30 days to review and accept/reject each submission. Delay notifications categorized as the contractor's fault will not adjust the contract delivery date. The CDRL specifies the required format, content, distribution, and frequency of this data item. This CDRL is associated with a pre-solicitation notice for an upcoming RFP to obtain C-130 maintenance and repair services for the U.S. Marine Corps in the Western Pacific region.
