About this file
This document contains questions and responses related to a pre-solicitation notice for a federal contract opportunity to provide Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services for U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J aircraft forward deployed to the Western Pacific region. The existing multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract holders are MARSHALL OF CAMBRIDGE AEROSPACE LIMITED and CASCADE AEROSPACE INC. via subcontract with CANADIAN COMMERCIAL CORPORATION. The contract period of performance will be from January 2025 to July 2030. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) under full and open competition. Key details addressed in the questions and responses include: correcting a description in the draft solicitation, application of a revised DCMA instruction, contractor warranty duration, whether a proprietary information agreement (PIA) is still required, and the expected inclusion of the cost to procure Performance and Environment Management Articles (PEMAs) in the proposal. The responses provide clarification on these matters.
