About this file

This is Appendix F of a Performance Work Statement (PWS) that establishes the applicable codes, standards, and regulations for a federal contract opportunity. The appendix does not address specific products or services required, response dates, award dates, or pricing terms. Instead, it serves as a reference document outlining mandatory compliance requirements for contractor performance.

The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, Army regulations, and whichever requirement is most stringent. The appendix lists comprehensive mandatory publications and standards organized by issuing organization, including ASHRAE standards for HVAC and refrigeration systems; ASME/ANSI codes for elevators, escalators, and mechanical systems; ICC codes for building, fire, fuel gas, mechanical, and plumbing systems; NFPA standards for fire protection; IEEE standards for electrical systems; UFC criteria for DoD facilities; U.S. Army regulations covering safety, environmental protection, physical security, information technology, and facilities management; federal regulations under 29 CFR and 40 CFR addressing occupational safety, hazardous waste, environmental protection, and water quality; DoD directives on antiterrorism, cybersecurity, and contractor services; and EPA guidelines on solid waste and procurement. All referenced publications are to be the most current edition in effect at contract award. The Government retains full ownership of contractor operating logs and forms for purposes of service continuity and historical data preservation.
