4.1.2 Technical Assessments (Non-

DSS-SOC)

Reports detailing technical assessments of existing system hardware, software, and reference documentation.

Assessments will include analyses of systems and recommendations for technical solutions as defined by delivery/task order.

Standard is met 90% of the time.

4.1.4.1 Manufacture and Production

(DSS- SOC)

Prototype and production hardware to support integration of systems that will interface with or fall within DSS-SOC boundaries for dry deck shelters.

Manufacture and production includes verification of the form, fit and function of the hardware to include fit checks on material, verification of that the deliverables of all electrical, mechanical, software and human interface components meets the drawings and specifications, and on time delivery of products, as defined by delivery/task order.

Standard is met 100% of the time.

Design and development includes conceptual design, preliminary design, design evaluation, analysis of alternatives, performance analysis, design analysis, performance simulations, and detailed design in support of design reviews as defined by delivery/task order.

Perform Lifecycle Support for

DSS-SOC hardware, perform controlled material handling, receipt inspection of Original

Equipment Manufacturer

(OEM) provided hardware for indoctrination to the DSS-SOC program, and perform maintenance inclusive of DSS-

SOC equipment and carry on hardware in accordance with

DSS-SOC procedures.

Lifecycle support includes recommendations for logistics products such as sparing, maintenance instructions and procedures, reliability centered maintenance analysis, training curriculum and materials, technical manuals, and procedure development, as defined by delivery/task order.
