DEFERRED RESPONSES FROM NOTICE NO. 6
94. Communication Ductbank Under Existing Airport Access Road We respectfully ask to reconsider the answer to Q&A No. 85 in regards to boring under the Airport Access Road.
Would traditional ductbank excavation and placement be allowed if the Contractor would employ means and methods (i.e. steel plating, flagmen, traffic control measures, etc.) to ensure there is no disruption to the ingress and egress of the Airport?
This approach would provide the Government with an economic solution for this small scope of work. Please advise.
ANSWER: Please bid per RFP.
95. Ref. Drawing; P-9010: CG401, & Notice No. 5 Q&A No. 88 Future Truck Fill stand 1.
Please provide the coordinates for the Truck Fill stand which will allow us to locate/determine the appropriate surface reinstatement measures needed following construction of the canopy foundation.
Is it the intent of the designer to leave the footings buried without any indicators?
ANSWER: The center west foundation center point has been located on CS401. It has been coordinated with SB103. Please refer to the revised sheets included in Amendment 0006. The finish requirements for the fill stand are included within the civil documents.
