NOTICE NO. 6
94. Communication Ductbank Under Existing Airport Access Road We respectfully ask to reconsider the answer to Q&A No. 85 in regards to boring under the Airport Access Road.
Would traditional ductbank excavation and placement be allowed if the Contractor would employ means and methods (i.e. steel plating, flagmen, traffic control measures, etc.) to ensure there is no disruption to the ingress and egress of the Airport?
This approach would provide the Government with an economic solution for this small scope of work. Please advise.
ANSWER: Response is deferred.
