DEFINITIONS AND ACRONYMS
DEFINITION/ACRONYM DESCRIPTION
Abandoned Property Deserted, discarded or vacated goods, possessions, belongings or personal items.
Appliances Fixed and removable items associated with quality of life, including washers and dryers, stoves, microwaves, refrigerators and dishwashers.
Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM)
Maintenance and minor repair work performed during the period of time after a resident vacates their assigned quarters and prior to a new resident taking occupancy ensuring the quarters are clean, fully equipped, fully functional and habitable.
Clean Free of dirt, stains, odors, smears, smudges, streaks and foreign matter, and debris.
Common Use Areas Those areas available for use by all residents not assigned during a period of time for occupancy, e.g., interior entranceways, lobbies, corridors, guest and staff restrooms, lounges, conference rooms, laundry rooms, stairways, elevators, storerooms, and exterior courtyards, gazebos, designated smoking areas, and athletic areas, such as volleyball courts, immediately adjacent to UH.
Equipment Accessories, attachments, machinery or devices provided to support operations or habitability of a facility.
Fully Functional That end state of UH considered to exist when all facilities, furnishings, appliances, equipment, utility service outlets and fixtures operate as intended.
Housing Officer The Government designated point of contact for all Unaccompanied Housing issues.
Quarters A unit, e.g., room, suite, within a lodging facility designated for occupancy by an eligible service member authorized by DoD.
Sanitary Free of microorganisms.
UH Unaccompanied Housing.

REFERENCES AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
The Contractor shall adhere to the applicable portions of the following publications and directives in performing the services required under this contract. This list shall not be considered all-inclusive and does not release the Contractor from all obligations that must be fulfilled in the observance and execution of this contract.
When U.S., European and/or Spanish directives, instructions and industry standards are applicable to the work to be performed under this contract, the most stringent directives, instructions and industry standards shall govern.

LISTING OF UH CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY MAINTENANCE TASKS
CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY UNACCOMPANIED HOUSING BARRACKS, MODULES TYPE A AND B
Replace any missing or damaged parts/hardware for all wooden closet and cabinet doors, aluminum doors, aluminum windows and blinds, all ceramic wall tiles in bathroom and kitchen and kitchen countertop.
Repair damaged wall (pick wall and plaster to match existing wall surface.
Paint walls, ceiling and doors.
Leave all interior lights in operating order. Replace any missing or damaged lighting fixtures, lamp, electrical outlet/cover and light switch/cover.
Repair/replace any missing or damaged parts/hardware/plumbing fixtures.
Snake the sanitary sewer lines from main line located at the corridors to the bathrooms and kitchens.
Repair/replace any missing or damaged shelves in kitchen wood cabinets.
Clean all appliances including refrigerators, washer/dryer, dryer exhaust hoses, exhaust fans, and ceiling fans.
Clean/replace any damaged or missing exhaust fan covers/grilles and lights.
Clean interior of exhaust system ducts.
Seal/caulk/weather strip around all windows, doors and A/C Units.
Custodial/Cleaning services to bedrooms, bathrooms and entries-kitchens.
