About this file

This is Amendment 0007 to a federal contract solicitation for repair services at a NAVFAC facility. The amendment, effective July 27, 2026, extends the proposal due date to August 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST and provides clarifications to specification requirements through a Questions and Answers format.

The amendment addresses seven technical questions regarding casework and cabinet specifications for what appears to be a repair or renovation project (RFQ PC555, Project 25-0009). Key clarifications include: frameless box construction is acceptable for cabinet fronts; High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is required for interior cabinet surfaces rather than white melamine; countertop splashes must be integral rather than loose; edge banding material must be laminate rather than 0.5mm PVC; door and drawer fronts must be constructed of 3/4" plywood instead of particleboard; and drawer box assembly interiors and exteriors must be finished with HPL rather than white melamine. The contract is administered by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Resident Officer in Charge of Construction at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged, and contractors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment when submitting proposals.
