About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment 0006) to Solicitation N4008525R2523 for the P-1458 2nd Radio Battalion Complex, Phase 2, Parachute and Supply Facilities project at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The amendment provides responses to Pre-Proposal Inquiries (PPIs) addressing technical specifications and design requirements, including warehouse sprinkler protection, fire pump location, water and sewer main sizing, and various site improvement details. Several key questions remain marked as "PENDING", indicating ongoing clarification is needed for specific aspects such as dumpster enclosures, fence gate access controls, fencing requirements, and electrical load estimations. The amendment maintains the original solicitation's core requirements for a design-build project involving construction of parachute maintenance and supply warehouse facilities.

The RFP indicates existing sectionalizing cabinets to feed the transformers shown on the plans included in the RFP.

Estimated loads in RFP

Chapter F exceed typical requirements. It appears the government added 45% to the subtotals when all that should be required is 20% please confirm that this can be reduced to 20% or if the 45% is necessary as it will increase transformer sizes.
