Re: Authorizing a Discharge under the Comprehensive General Permit for Discharges to Surface Water and
Groundwater for the U.S. Naval Submarine Base New London at the corner of Route 12 and Crystal Lake
Road.
Dear Mr. Brown:
The issuance letter for the above referenced permit dated March 5 2020, has been modified. The modification adds temperature to the monitoring parameters in Tables A, C, and E. It was inadvertently omitted. It, like the other parameters, has a monitoring frequency of “Annually.” NetDMR will be updated to reflect this change. For any
NetDMR, Subscriber Agreement, or DMR reporting questions, please contact Lilly Molina at (860) 424-3922 or at lilly.molina@ct.gov.
Abbreviations used in the table are as follows:
“gpd” means gallons per day.
“mg/l” means milligrams per liter.
“NA” means "not applicable".
“NR” means "not required".
“S.U.” means Standard Units.
“----“ means limit is not specified but a value must be reported.
“Annually” means the sample must be collected in the month of June.
