This is a DB delivery system; the GC-A&E Team must field verify all the existing conditions.

Basement renovation plans require new perforated pipe draingage be tied into nearest sewer manhole/catch basin. Please provide locations of nearest catch basin for basement drainage connection

To be determined by DOR. Site plan with utilities has been provided.

Part 3 states that "Quantity of materials to be properly abated and disposed of is not limited to the quantities identified in the previous reports..." It is not practical to expect a contractor to identify and quantify all finishes present in a given building when either quickly walking thru the building or in this case not entering the building at all.

The reports have been developed by a consultant that presumably specializes in identifying hazardous material and this data should form the basis of pricing. Requiring the bidding contractors to be responsible for abatement of all like materials in a building will result in additional contingency ($) being included to shoulder what could be a significant risk. Please consider using the data in the report to form the basis of pricing so that the various bidding contractors are bidding the same scope of work.

Refer to Chapter 1.5.d

Part 2 01 50 00.05 20 Para 1.5

Referenced specification states that reasonable amounts of utilities will be made available to the contractor at prevailing Government rates.

Please provide the prevailing Government rates and/or consider providing available utility usage at no cost to the contractor.

There is no cost to the contractor for utility usage.

27. Please provide an updated time line for issuance of these documents.

The virtual site visit material has been distributed to the GCC- MAC holders. Please contact one of the six MAC holders listed on the front page of the solicitation for access.

Typically during physical site visits a lot of data can be provided from personnel attending the site visit, such as typical interior photos and construction methods, etc. Due to the lack of a physical site visit for this project, there is a large amount of critical data we do not yet have.

This directly affects our ability to develop preliminary design data to provide to our subcontractors for pricing. As such, please consider extending the proposal due date a minimum of 3 weeks from receipt of the virtual tour documents. This is required to allow our design team sufficient opportunity to develop preliminary design data and then for our subcontractors to price the work based on the data developed by the design team.
