About this file
This solicitation and amendment seek proposals for a design-build contract to complete two military construction projects at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The projects include replacing the Onslow Beach Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway and rebuilding two railroad trestles over the White Oak River and Queens Creek. Offerors must provide technical approaches, past performance histories, safety plans, technical solutions, project schedules, and small business utilization proposals. The Navy will evaluate non-price factors first and price second, with non-price factors significantly outweighing price. The solicitation issued on October 7, 2019. Proposals are due by July 20, 2020 and award will occur shortly thereafter. The work must be completed within 1,826 calendar days. The NAICS code is 237310 and the size standard is $39.5 million. The magnitude of construction is between $100-250 million.
