About this file
This document contains details for a federal construction solicitation seeking offers for the repair of MacDonough Hall at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The project involves replacing the training pool and HVAC system, abating asbestos and lead paint, upgrading electrical and fire suppression systems, and structural and envelope repairs. The work is to be completed within 1,097 calendar days of award for a firm fixed price. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command is conducting a two-phase best value source selection with tradeoffs, first prequalifying offerors based on experience, safety, and past performance, then evaluating final proposals on all factors. Prequalification phase proposals were due May 28, 2021, with the final phase submission date and site visit details to be provided in an amendment. Questions were required to be submitted by May 17, 2021 to the listed contracting and alternate points of contact.
