CAC Procedures for New Contract Award
N00019-15-R-0079
Section J, Attachment 21
29 March 2016
The contracting company is responsible for providing TASS Registration
Request (TRR) Forms to the AOIC, who in turn will provide them to the Trusted
Agent (Wing Security Manager) so that CAC applications can be initiated.
A TRR will be required for each contract employee requiring a CAC. This form must be approved (sponsored) by either a military member or civil service employee.
In order for an employee to receive a CAC they MUST have a bona fide requirement as described on the TRR; otherwise RAPIDGATE will be used.
In order to access an IT Level II system such as NMCI or TRANET or to have elevated privilege (more than “read only”) on government web-enabled applications, a favorable NACLC (via SF86) is required.
