• The contractor shall provide labor to remove dirty/fouled membranes from the system(s) and replace with the same number of cleaned membranes when called by CHRP project manager. This service shall be completed with 24 hours of service call.
• Contractor shall pick up the dirty membrane and transport to off-site contractor’s facility for cleaning. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to safely remove the membranes from the
RO system(s) without affecting the daily activity of other plant personnel working in proximity.
This membrane exchange shall be performed four (4) times a year for each RO system.
• The offsite membrane shall include the following steps
a) Individual pre-testing of all membranes includes visual inspection, salt rejection % and flow testing.
b) High and Low pH cleaning on all membranes.
c) Individual post-testing of all membranes includes visual inspection, salt rejection % and flow testing.
d) Treat cleaned membranes with Sodium Bisulfite before transporting to the CHRP.
e) Report generation to document performance of each membrane.
