About this file

The document is a Form 10 - Certification of Drug-Free Workplace Program issued by the Florida Department of Management Services for the MyFloridaNetwork-3 procurement (ITN No.: DMS-24/25-260). This form outlines the state's requirements for businesses seeking to demonstrate compliance with drug-free workplace standards in order to receive preferential consideration during the bid evaluation process.

The document details six specific requirements for establishing a drug-free workplace program, including publishing employee statements about controlled substance prohibitions, informing employees about drug abuse dangers and assistance programs, providing written statements to employees, notifying employers of drug-related convictions, imposing sanctions on employees convicted of drug offenses, and making a good faith effort to maintain a drug-free workplace. Businesses that can certify compliance with these requirements may receive preference when bids are otherwise equal in price, quality, and service, creating an incentive for companies to implement comprehensive drug-free workplace policies.
