About this file

This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm fixed-price purchase order to provide DNA methylation microarray processing services for the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging (BLSA) on behalf of the National Institute on Aging (NIA).

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) intends to award a non-competitive contract to UCLA Neuroscience Genomics Core for these services. The period of performance includes a base period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 for 2,240 samples and an option period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 for an additional 96 samples. The key requirements are to perform genome-wide DNA methylation microarray assays on the archived BLSA DNA samples and provide the raw data files, quality control metrics, and a summary report. The technical evaluation criteria focus on the contractor's technical capability, price, and past performance. Responses are due by June 17, 2024.
