About this file
This document provides details for a federal contract opportunity to provide environmental remediation services at the former Homestead Air Force Base in Florida. Key services required include conducting annual land use control monitoring at 10 sites, preparing a five-year review report for eight CERCLA and state-managed sites, investigating and removing an oil water separator, and submitting quarterly progress reports. The contractor must also attend semi-annual base cleanup team meetings and monthly teleconferences. The incumbent contractor completed work transition in September 2020. The contracting period is anticipated to run from July 2020 through July 2030.
This related presolicitation notice seeks industry feedback on a draft request for proposals to award six contracts to provide environmental remediation services at 40 former military bases organized into five continental U.S. regions and one Alaska region. Services will maintain remedies and implement optimization efforts to advance sites to completion. The Department of the Air Force plans to release a final solicitation in November 2019. Questions on the draft RFP are due by November 4, 2019.
