The Government has received the following questions from contractors. Please see the responses below.
Question Set 1 for FA8202-12-R-50990 Amd 02 and Amd 03:
Contractor Questions:
Appendix F - PWS Paragraph 3.2.1.8 Source Data Review states "The Contractor will prepare a report to the TOMA either identifying adequacy or identifying concerns with the quality of the package including itemized deficiencies." However, no CDRL is associated with this PWS paragraph. Which CDRL will be used to submit this report?
Government Response:
Amendment 03 addresses this question.
Contractor Questions:
PWS Paragraph 3.3.4 - Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) Development Support (CDRL A008) Statement: "...provide TCTO development support for routine, urgent, and emergency type requirements..."
Question: The CDRL is requesting a price for an annual effort to be able to comply with above statement, is there an estimate or historical information as to the average number of TCTO's development over the the past 4 years? Or any estimate of how many estimated in the future based upon future acft mods and such?
Government Response:
For TCTO development, we did about 3 events over the last 4 years. This was an effort to create a automated template for TCTO program.
Contractor Question:
PWS Paragraph 3.9 - INTERACTIVE VECTORIZED FILES Statement: "The Contractor shall develop interactive vectorized files in support of intelligent wire/signal tracing products derived from existing A-10 technical order wiring schematics. Functionality will be IAW S1000DIss4."
Question: Is there an estimate of how many schematics the A-10 plans to develop each year and if they plan to be updated over time as other changes impact aircraft wiring?
Government Response:
The number of schematics we would anticipate affecting would be about 30 to 50 items per year once we implement intelligent wire.
