STATEMENT OF WORK

FOR

ARCHITECT-ENGINEER (A-E) SERVICES

Repair TLF Building 134

KRSM970150 WO #52502

1.0 GENERAL SCOPE:

1.1 The Architect-Engineer shall provide the Other A-E Services, as described below.

1.2 Definitions:

1.2.1 Title I (Design) all work required to develop contract drawings, technical specifications, design analysis, cost estimates and other necessary documents as detailed in this task order.

1.2.2 Title II (Construction Management) all services associated with supervision and inspection of a specific construction project as detailed in this task order.

1.2.3 Other A-E Services: all work requiring the services of registered architects and engineers but not specifically covered by Title I or Title II services as described in this task order. These services typically consist of developing fact finding studies, surveys, investigations, and other similar work.

1.3 All work shall comply with the requirements outlined in the basic Indefinite

Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract unless those requirements are specifically altered in this Task Order.

2.0 PROJECT SCOPE:

2.1 The scope of the project shall include all work and materials required to Provide A Structural Inspection and Analysis of Bldg 134 to Determine the Extent of Structural Damage, Provide Recommendations, and Provide A Budget Costs For Structural Repairs

3.0 A-E SUBTASKS:

3.1 Task 1: Provide a structural inspection and analysis report on Bldg 134 to determine the extent of structural damage.

3.2 Task 2: Provide recommendations for repair of the structure.

3.3 Task 3: Provide an RS Means or other line item cost estimate for repair of the structure.

4.0 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF SUBMITTALS

4.1 Structural (Provide a minimum of the following):

4.1.1 Preliminary study report (4 written copies).

4.1.2 Preliminary study report (1 digital copy).

4.1.3 Final study report (4 written copies) sealed by structural engineer.

4.1.4 Final study report (1 digital copy)

5.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES

5.1 Government will provide CD with the following:

5.1.1 As-built drawings of B134. Drawings may not be accurate and for information only.

6.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

6.1 Only the Contracting Officer has authority to change the scope of work described in this Task Order. The government is under no obligation to compensate the A-E firm for work performed outside of that described here - without prior written approval of the Contracting Officer.

6.2 Changes to the scope of this Task Order, which the A-E feels to be in the best interest of the government, may be submitted to the Contracting Officer for consideration. Any such request for changes must be made at or before the preliminary submittal.

6.3 The project Engineer/Architect is

6.4 The design study budget for this project is $25,000 and must not be exceeded without the prior written approval of the Contracting Officer.

6.5 Submittals are to be delivered to the A-E Coordinator Jonathan Ramras, CECM,

(801) 777-4616.
