About this file
This is a site visit notes document for an Integrated Monitoring and Protection System (IMPS) 2 federal contract opportunity dated April 2, 2026. The site visit was attended by TSgt Dolley (PIO - Customer) and TSgt Rohrs (Contracting Specialist). The contract involves surveillance and monitoring work for an already-constructed facility, with the majority of work occurring inside the building.
Key questions raised by potential bidders that will be addressed in Amendment 3 of the Questions and Answers document include: whether Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are required on the fence; camera specifications; VAT and customs handling procedures; whether a guard booth is required despite not appearing on drawings; clarification on the addendum drawing showing existing versus new items with revised scale; delineation of existing items, demolition extent, and storage/work areas; and stand-off distance requirements for two 20 kW generators in proximity to the flight line. The clarifications indicate that lighting will be installed around the building perimeter and on an adjacent fence between the Storage Support Area (SSA) and the facility, and that the proposal scope covers only one facility. Site visit requests will continue to be accepted until the deadline posted on SAM.gov.
