Center (AMIC) Contracting (PKC)
SUBJECT: Solicitation FA4890-14-R-0012, Aerial Targets II Industry Day / General
Information and One-on-One Sessions
1. HQ ACC AMIC will be conducting an open forum briefing and one-on-one sessions on Wednesday, 21 May 2014 in order to share information on the government’s requirement for Aerial Targets II and preliminary acquisition strategy, as well as to obtain industry feedback.
Industry day will be conducted at the Magnuson Hotel and Convention Center at Oyster Point (former Omni Hotel), 1000 Omni Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606 in Huntington Room A.
Due to space limitations, please limit the number of individuals attending to three (3) individuals per offeror/joint venture. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and Industry Day will begin at 9:00 a.m. The day will start with the government’s briefing and will be followed by an open forum Q&A session. The rest of the day will be set aside for one-on-one sessions starting at 1 p.m. and all day the next day on 22 May 14 (see below).
2. During the group Industry Day session, the government will provide information and respond to questions regarding the Aerial Targets II requirements and acquisition. Questions will be accepted at Industry Day; however, please submit as many of your questions as possible in writing prior to Industry Day. For all questions submitted in advance, please note whether you want them addressed during the open Industry Day session or during your private one-on-one session. All questions and the government’s answers will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov upon conclusion of the event without publicizing the point of origination. Questions and responses shall be used as part of the government’s continuous information exchange in an effort to adequately and appropriately state the service requirements for Aerial Targets II. If an interested party believes its questions are proprietary, please annotate as such in the title and body of your email so that your questions and the government’s responses are not publically discussed during Industry Day or posted to FedBizOpps. If you would like to submit questions, please send them via email to accamic.drx.aerialtargetsrecompete@us.af.mil no later than 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, 16 May 2014.
3. Following the group Industry Day session, individual conferences will be available for those offerors interested in conducting a one-on-one session with the government. The one-on-one sessions will be held at the Suntrust Bank Building, ACC AMIC, 11817 Canon Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606 beginning at 1 p.m. in the 4th floor conference room; potential offerors should assemble in the entryway of room 404. Each individual session will be 50 minutes and is
