PTR Q & A from Sources Sought posting FA4890-11-R-0012
Q1. Do you happen to know if this is a new requirement?
Govt Answer: This is not a new requirement, The current contract is a base year plus four one year options and is managed by ACC AMIC.
Q2. If there is a contractor currently performing these services, would you be able to provide the contract information? (Contract number, award date, vendor name, value).
Govt Answer:
Contract #: FA4890-07-C-0016 Award Date: 8/1/2007 Contractor: Ahntech, Inc Contract Value: $68,634,717.39
Q3. We’ve reviewed the documents made available regarding the upcoming Primary Training Ranges (PTR) solicitation. There are two (2) sets of questions for which you’ve requested a response: (1) the “Memorandum for Potential Small Business Concerns Offerors”, dated 11 July 2011; and (2) the “Memorandum for Potential Offerors”, dated 21 July 2011.
Are you requesting that all companies (including large businesses) respond to one or both of these requests for information, or are you only requesting responses from capable small businesses?
Govt Answer: The “Memorandum for Potential Offerors” is open for both small and large businesses to respond and the “Memorandum for Potential Small Business Concerns Offerors” is for small businesses. We are trying to gauge the capabilities of small businesses to see if there are enough capable small businesses to qualify for a small business set aside.
