5.3 Airfield Management and Operations
5.3.1 Airfield Personnel/Qualifications. The contractor shall employ an Airfield Manager (AFM) and two Airfield Manager Shift Leads (AMSL) who are certified IAW AFI 13-204 V1, Chapter 7 and AFI 13-204 V3 chapter 2, 3, 15, 19, and 20 who shall be responsible for the performance of Section I-5. Personnel working in the airfield environment shall meet the requirements of AFI 13-204, V1, Chapter 7, Paragraph 7.1.1.1 through 7.1.1.6., and AFI 13-204v3. The AM, if not previously completed, shall complete the Advanced Airfield Managers course within 6 months of appointment (at the contractor’s expense). An AFM or AMSL shall be on duty on site during each flying hour.
