About this file
This document is an exhibit containing minimum specification requirements for a Military-style All-Terrain (MAT) vehicle under contract TC25-8. The table establishes technical and operational performance standards that proposed solutions must meet or exceed.
The MAT capability specifications include: minimum load lift capacity of 300 lbs; time to lower and raise payload (5-12 second window); target payload weight of 400 lbs with minimum 90% of target payload when accelerating and exceeding durability term with no part of the system excluded to dust-free operation; RF frequency parameters at 138-160 MHz and 400-420 MHz; bandwidth capacity of less than 12.5 kHz; maximum distance range of 8 km; and hard-wired communications with cycles per hour operating capability without regenerating power supply. Additional requirements specify 8/100 per 24-hour duty cycle; 2000 cycles system charging capability; 3.8 VAV static design load rating; and 1000V/A 3.8VAV electrical specifications. The vehicle must achieve a targeted lifespan standard of 350 with full barrel exposure for 50 meters, with acceleration and deceleration capability within 0.20 mph and 10-knot distraction speeds. Movement specifications include within 100 km and 14-18.6 km, and 19-24 km range distance parameters. Power supply and system charging requirements are identified along with static design load specifications and length of movement specifications for mounting targets.
