About this file
This is a fee schedule exhibit for a paratransit contractor service provided by Florida County's Transit Services Division in support of the Votran paratransit system. The schedule establishes pricing for ambulatory service, wheelchair service, personal care attendant services, and no-show or cancelled-at-door fees across a five-year contract term with annual rate columns for Years 1 through 5. The paratransit service operates on a partial-brokered model where the County contracts approximately 30% of the approximately 250,000 annual trips to external providers while managing the remaining 70% in-house, serving the County's ADA and transit-disadvantaged population through multiple transportation providers.
The fee schedule establishes that contractors are required to collect all fares at the time of service, with customers unable to provide payment to be denied transportation. All checks and tokens collected must be remitted to the County, while contractors retain cash payments and deduct collected amounts from their invoices. Personal care attendants accompanying customers are not charged a fare, though contractors may bill the County separately for personal care attendant services. Each trip is calculated on a one-way basis under this pricing structure.
