About this file

Amendment No. 9 is a contract extension between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Arcadis U.S. Inc., a consulting firm headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida. This amendment extends the original Contract No. HW557, which was initially executed on December 23, 2010, and has been previously amended eight times. The amendment was executed on May 20, 2021, by Arcadis and on May 27, 2021, by the Florida DEP.

The amendment extends the contract for a six-month period from June 23, 2021, through December 22, 2021, with all parties continuing to perform under the same terms and conditions as the original contract. Arcadis provides waste cleanup program services within four primary service areas: Waste Site Cleanup, Site Investigation, Brownfields, and CERCLA Site Screening. The amendment updates the contract management structure, designating specific DEP and Arcadis contract managers for each service area. Additionally, the amendment updates employee eligibility verification requirements, mandating that Arcadis utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system for all employees and requiring the same verification from any authorized subcontractors. The document contains no pricing information, set-asides, or option periods beyond the stated six-month extension.
