About this file
This is Annex A of a Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) for equipment maintenance and repair services, establishing quality standards and surveillance methods for Army materiel maintenance operations.
The annex specifies performance requirements across six primary service categories: Materiel Maintenance—General (establishing and operating equipment repair shops with 95% AQL); Materiel Maintenance—Programs/Efforts (performing repairs per technical manuals with 95-98% AQL depending on work type); Materiel Maintenance Support (tire maintenance, wheel alignment, and sensitive item handling with 95-100% AQL); Repair Parts and Materiel Management Tasks (shop supply services and standard pricing item management with 95% AQL); Production Control (managing maintenance workload and work completion timelines with 95% AQL); and Food Service Equipment (preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled repair services with 95% AQL). Quality standards require compliance with specified Army Regulations (AR 750-1, AR 710-2, etc.), technical manuals, and standard operating procedures. Surveillance methods are primarily random sampling conducted periodically at shop/activity locations, with lots consisting of in-process/completed work, records, and files. Acceptable Quality Levels range from 95% to 100%, with sensitive item maintenance requiring monthly surveillance at 100% AQL and food service equipment requiring bi-weekly surveillance at 95% AQL. Timeliness requirements include 24-hour response to unscheduled maintenance calls and immediate notification to the Contracting Officer of missing sensitive items or administrative discrepancies.
